The First China Documentary Festival 2023 will be hosted in Beijing from Aug. 28th to 31st. Themed as “Cultural Heritage via Documentary”, the festival is sponsored by the National Radio and Television Administration and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and organized by the Publicity Department of the National Radio and Television Administration, the Publicity Department of the Beijing Committee of the Communist Party of China, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Beijing Dongcheng District Committee and the Dongcheng District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. The festival will convene several sessions: Launching Ceremony, Academic Conference, Screening and Broadcasting, Proposal Conference, Closing Ceremony, Special Sessions, etc.
The launching ceremony of the First China Documentary Festival&2023 China Documentary Festival will be hosted at China National Opera House on Aug, 28th, representatives from all provinces and regions, industry experts and stakeholders will presented at the ceremony.Five academic sessions will be convened in conducting the value-leading, content creation, international communication, science and technology application and other topics; The conference will create a documentary film exhibition week via four channels, namely, TV, Internet, media, cultural space.
A hundreds of domestic and foreign excellent documentaries will be presented to embrace the cultural charming in the screen.Furthermore, with the wide collection of documentaries at home and abroad, ”Top 10 proposals” will be selected with production and distribution, packaging and marketing and financial support.
The organization committee of China Documentary Festival sincerely welcome the head of the International Documentary Film Festival, representatives from overseas production and broadcasting platforms, as well as documentary directors, producers, and young creators.
